Andrew has been our "go-to guy" for pet/house sitting for many years. We have had challenging animals that are too much for just anyone to handle (a butt-biting diabetic Jack Russell, an occasionally-aggressive Chessie, and the most ornery of Pigmy goats, to name a few) so you can imagine how grateful we were to have Andrew living just up the street. Andrew approached all of these challenges with grace and good humor. I know many claim to have dog whisperer qualities, but one story convinced me that Andrew's approach to animals is special. My daughter was recently walking our latest challenge, a five-year-old Hound who barks aggressively at all new people (especially men), when she came upon Andrew walking the other way. My daughter didn't recognize Andrew at first, but what impressed her beyond words was that Keepsie wasn't barking. The dog was as calm as can be and let Andrew pat her as if it was no big deal. Beyond being great with our animals, we have found Andrew to be super reliable, responsible, and a strong communicator. Anyone would be lucky to have Andrew as their dog's trusted companion!
