Pet care experience
I have a passion for animals! Every since I can remember I have always had a dog or some other animal. Currently, I have two very energetic Border Collies! After spending over eight years in the Financial Services Industry, I recently decided to change careers and go back to school and follow my dream of becoming a Veterinarian. This change motivated me to start my pet sitting business. One skill I have mastered over the many years in financial services is white glove service. I will provide your animal with tailored concierge services to ensure they receive the canine royal treatment. I understand every dog is different, so I will make sure to tailor their care plan to meet their individual needs. Please let me know if you have any questions. I order to provide the best possible care for your animal, here are some questions to answer before our visit: 1. What treats, if any, is the pet allowed? 2. Has the pet had any (recent) pee/poop accidents in-home? When? 3. Has the pet been properly/professionally leash-trained? Other training? 4. What commands do your dogs know AND listen to regularly? 5. Is the pet a food-scavenger? Will the pet try to eat/beg for human food? 6. What separation-anxiety behaviors, if any, does your pet exhibit (chew/scratch furniture, eat non-food items, urinate/defecate in-home, etc.)? 7. Does your pet sleep throughout the night? Is the pet able to sleep quietly/in a separate room/same room, etc.? 8. Does your dog eat its'/others' dogs' feces? Drink toilet bowl water? 9. Does your dog need to be crated when the sitter is out of the home? Does the dog like its crate? 10. How long do you usually leave your pet alone (without human supervision)? What is the longest amount of time pet can be left alone? 11. What toys/games does your pet like? 12. If your pet gets dirty, do you require baths? Groomers? Are you willing to pay extra for this? 13. Does you pet like to be brushed? 14. Will your pets nails be trimmed before I arrive? 15. Does your pet like to swim? 16. Any other odd habits/behaviors/etc. your pet possesses? 17. Is there a spare key located outside the home in case I lock myself out? If not, is there a friend/neighbor who may have one? 18. Does your pet have any medical or physical conditions I should be aware of? 19. Will you be providing a detailed list of care instructions and contact numbers for me? If so, when may I anticipate receiving these? 20. Does your dog like to hike? Is your dog well-behaved off-leash while hiking? 21. Does your dog like and behave well at off-leash dog parks? 22. Does your dog like to go for on-leash runs with humans and behave well while doing so? 23. Is your dog friendly with other dogs? cats? young children? 24. A typical day
Whatever your dog is into I will do. As mentioned previously, I want to ensure I am meeting your animal's needs. If your dog requires a run, I will make sure to get them out there on the trail. Some dogs just like to be held, then I will make sure they get all the cuddles they need.
