Pet care experience
I have two of my own cats (Fermi and Millie) for ten years and love them very much. In the past, I have helped care for my grandmother's cats and my mother's dogs before I decided to adopt Fermi and Millie. I have cared for the cats of other friends and we would care for each other's cats when one of us had to travel for work. My family has also had dogs that I helped care for as a child and growing up. I would take our dogs for walks and give them baths. My cats mean the world to me and I know your pets mean the world to you too!

I believe this is the 4th or 5th time I hired Andrea to cat sit. She does an amazing job and Doja loves her!
Andrea was great at taking care of our cat Wilbur. She was caring and made sure he had everything he needed. I’m so thankful she was able to take care of him! I would definitely have her watch our cat again.
Andrea is great with cats! This was our first time having a Rover sitter watch Bill and we were very happy. Andrea gave us little updates on how Bill was doing and included some lovely photos! We’ll be reaching out to Andrea again next time we need a sitter.
Andrea has been around dogs and cats her whole life. There has always been an animal in her house. Caring for animals has been a major priority in her life and has brought her joy. I have seen her build special connections with each pet. She has had both dogs and cats as pets starting at a young age. She has adopted all her pets and provided proper care and love to each animal that she has had. Andrea has also cared for animals that she found around her neighborhood. She worked to find the owner of a lost cat, taking the cat to the vet and continually checking up on the animal out of genuine care. Many friends have also had Andrea watch their dogs and cats while they were away for long periods of time, as they see her as a trusted and reliable sitter.

If you have a cat, I would love to come feed them, give them fresh water, play with them, and change their litter. If you have a dog, I live near a park and can take them on a walk and play with them. I believe dogs should stay on leashes when they are outdoors for their safety and the safety of others so I will never take them off their leash outdoors unless at a gated dog park.

I dont have any experience watching special need dogs, so please let me know if there is anything special your dog needs. I have given oral medication to cats (pills and liquids) and I have administered fluids to cats. I would like to know how your dog behaves with new people, when they see other dogs, when they see other wildlife (will they try to chase a squirrel if they see one?). If you have a cat, I would like to know how comfortable they are being touched/picked up.
A typical day
For dogs, I can play fetch with them and also teach them tricks such as "give me your paw" and "sit." I leave near Schenley Park so I can take them to walk through the park. For cats, I have a laser and other toys and I have catnip. I also have toys with sticks and strings they can chase.

Availability
I work from home currently and my time is a bit flexible. I am lucky that I get to see my own cats all day while I work. But sometimes I want to get up and walk around since my work is very sedentary. I typically wake up around 9am and go to sleep around 2am. I will sometimes have virtual meetings, but otherwise I am flexible.
