Pet care experience
I completed a fellowship at Wildcare Oklahoma helping rehabilitate and care for wounded or orphaned Oklahoma wildlife. I was a professional dog trainer for a little over a year. The two years prior I was a kennel tech at a vet clinic caring for dogs cats rabbits Guinea pigs and even a bird. I am currently a senior at OSU Stillwater going for my bachelors in zoology pre-vet. My end goal is to be a wildlife veterinarian. I am a member of the exotic animal club, pre-vet club, wildlife society and horticulture club. I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and find life much more fulfilling if there’s an animal by my side. I currently have 5 cats and 2 dogs of my own. Other dogs are welcome at my house as long as they’re not dog aggressive.

Andrea was amazing! She was able to watch my cats even after booking short notice during the thanksgiving holiday. She was very attentive, played with the cats, made sure they were okay, cleaned up after them, communicated with me daily. I cannot recommend a better pet sitter! She was perfect for my fur babies
Andrea was very nice and a joy to talk to, there’s just one area for improvement. I understand that it was a busy holiday weekend, but I was hoping for less kennel time as initially discussed since my dog is quite energetic and social. A bit more playtime would have been great. Professional service overall, just one area for improvement.

Andrea was amazing. She took great care of our cat. We have a diabetic cat that needs insulin twice a day. Andrea was able to give him all his shots and feed and care for him. We were worried our kitty would feel lonely while we were gone but she made sure to give him all the love and pets he needed. She was sweet and kind to him every single visit and her reports were awesome. Andrea noticed that our kitty loved looking out the screen door so she made sure to let him do that everyday and send updates on what he looked at and how he behaved that day. We loved her but most importantly our cat loved and felt safe around. Highly recommend her and will definitely hire her again when the time comes.

I have a flexiable schedule where I don’t leave my house very often and when I do it’s for short amount of time and allows for multiple potty breaks. I will be at your house for the allotted time to love on your animals and will send cute pics each day showing how they are doing. I’ve dog trained and kennel technician in the past and have a good understanding of cues animals per tray when they are feeling indifferent or stressed and will use that skill to judge whether to play with high energy or just give extra love to your fur babies.

A typical day
Play with toys give treats play chase or tug or just cuddles. Depends on the dog really. As well as a walk and I am open to suggestions.

Availability
Since I am in college this is the perfect job for me with a love for animals and a flexible schedule. If for some reason I’m unavailable at a very specific time I communicate in advance to work out a good alternate time.
