I have worked for the San Diego Humane Society as an Admissions Counselor for just under six years. During this time I cared for numerous animals at once, treating and loving each as if they were my very own. I was responsible for cleaning, feeding, walking, monitoring small/large dog play groups, gross physical exams, and administering medications and vaccinations. I also observed and handled dogs for behavior assessments. I have been trusted to care for a large number of animals on a daily basis and feel strongly about the importance of enrichment. I believe that an animal that is stimulated both physically and mentally is a happy animal. My animal expertise is not limited to dogs. I also have experience with cats and a number of small pets. Besides professional experience, I have many years of personal experience. I am a proud mommy of a Boston Terrier and a Husky.
