I've been a dog lover since birth, in fact my very first word was "dog". I've been dog walking and sitting for friends and family for years. I've watched dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Mastiffs and pitbulls to poodles. I have experience in caring for dogs on strict medication, with disabilities and unique personality traits. I've learned different training methods and techniques from professional trainers for individual dogs as well as packs. The thing that makes me the most excited about being a sitter on Rover is just being able to hangout with dogs all day! I couldn't think of a better way to spend the day. Just knowing that I get to meet all sorts of dogs and get to be apart of their day makes me smile. I've never met a dog I didn't like. I decided to become a pet sitter because of my love for dogs. What better way to spend your day than to do something that makes you happy and keeps you positive! I have experience in watching the pets of friends and family ranging from all breeds and sizes. I've cared for dogs with medical issues and impairments. I have also shadowed a professional dog trainer. She has trusted me numerous times to take care of her five dogs while she's away. Every dog is different, some are homebodies and dread the daily walk while others can't wait to sprint out the door. I can keep up with both and will try my best to get the less active dogs a little more excited for their walks. I promise to ease your dog while you're away and give you a peace of mind that they are in good hands. I also have experience in caring for cats, fish, turtles and all kinds of rodents ( hamsters, guinea pigs, ferrets, bunnies etc.). My favorite thing about the other animals is learning more about their individual personalities and being able to interact with them
