Pet care experience
Hello!! My name is Andrea and I am a full time student and currently in my senior year at UF. I have a fur baby of my own named Milo who is a German Shepherd/Husky mix! I have grown up in a household where I’ve always had a dog by my side; we have owned dogs from Labs to Spaniels to Dachshunds, you name it. Before I got Milo, I also fostered regularly both cats and dogs at the Humane Society. Animals have always been a huge part of my life and I would love nothing more than to meet your fur baby!

Safety, trust & environment
Safety is my number one priority and I am always very cautious on opening doors when the dogs don’t have a leash on, and when all walks I make sure to have a great grip on the leash just incase a distraction like a squirrel, lizard, or dog appears
Information Andrea P. would like to know about your pet
I would like to know about any reactivity that an animal may have just so we can avoid those stimuli. I would also know if we encounter another animal on the walk if you would prefer they say hello or work on peacefully passing other dogs!
A typical day
Although I always lose, I love a good game of tug-of-war. On walks, I like to keep a good pace but also do frequent stops so the dog can sniff as I know how important and stimulating smelling areas is.
Services
Andrea can watch in your home
Availability
I am a full time student studying Animal Sciences so I am very flexible aside from class meeting times which are listed on my schedule
