Pet care experience
I grew up with (and around) dogs, and was a go-to sitter for friends back home in Calgary. Now that I’m in Ottawa, Rover is a great fit until I can eventually adopt, when I travel less often for work. I’ve looked after all ages and sizes of dogs- it’s always fun getting to know their personalities! I live in a top floor unit of a house close to the canal in the golden triangle and typically go for walks 2-3 times a day now that I work from home (morning, after work, and a shorter one at lunch). There’s no yard, but plenty of green space, parks, and paths close by which we use for trips outside. I only take one booking at a time, and like to spend a lot of time with the dogs under my care. I understand you’ve put a lot of work into training, so I will make sure to stick to your house rules around food, manners, walking, etc. Feel free to tell me about your dog and any special requirements when you message!

Andrea provided outstanding care to my dog Bear for a whole week while I was away. I am very impressed with the level of care, attention, feedback and communication she provided. I found Bear's sitter for, hopefully, the next few year!. I can tell Bear was happy and relax with Andrea. The numerous walks, playtime and cuddles made her feel secure and loved while I was out of town, which allowed me to enjoy my holiday with family. Thank you so much Andrea!!
Andrea was amazing with my dog Pepper! They got along instantly which made me feel really comfortable leaving my pup with her. Andrea was great at giving updates and sending photos during the duration of the stay. She brought Pepper on lots of walks along the canal and snuggled her on the couch (two of her favourite activities). I would definitely leave her with Andrea again! Thanks for taking such good care of Pepper, I really appreciate it!!! ❤️?
Andrea took wonderful care of my doodle. She was reliable, punctual and proactive. She took long walks with him which he loves and played his favorite games. I also received regular updates and fun pictures. It’s obvious that Andrea does this because she truly enjoys spending time with pups! I know he had a great time because he tried to leave with her when it was time to come home! And it was only his first overnight with her! Thanks Andra - we can’t wait for the next time!
