Pet care experience
As a kid, I subscribed to dog magazines and taped dog posters all over my room. My subliminal messaging didn't work - my parents never got a dog. So in the meantime, I've loved walking, playing fetch with, and snuggling with all kinds of dogs. For high-energy or high-needs pups, I can administer oral medication or take long walks all around Baltimore. I always take one dog at a time if your dog isn’t great with or doesn’t have experience with other dogs. I’m happy to take two dogs from the same home or overlap a few days with different dogs if both owners approve it. I’ll always ask you first and provide details about the other dog, and separate them on different floors if I have to step out. I want to keep everyone feeling safe and relaxed!

Andrea is amazing! She came out to do a meet & greet with our boys right away as I was looking for someone to care for them whenever I went into labor, which was any day at that point. She was extremely flexible with scheduling & made getting our boys great care one less things to stress about during an unpredictable & stressful time for soon to be first time human parents ? Communication was top notch & I’m beyond grateful. Highly recommend & will definitely reach out to her for future needs.

I live in a carpeted downtown apartment with two floors. I am on the first floor of the building, but there is a short stair (6 steps) to access my unit. Dogs are allowed on my couch and bed, but please let me know if your dog isn’t allowed on the furniture so I can keep them well-behaved!!

A typical day
For exercise, I usually take dogs on walks around Ridgely’s Delight, around the baseball and football stadiums, and to the harbor with a pet water bottle if we're going for a long walk or it's hot. My standard walk is one lap around Camden Yards, which is almost a mile and takes about 20 minutes. There's a great spot in Ridgely's for fetch if your pup is okay off-leash. I have access to a fenced dog park in the back of my building and 3 blocks away if your dog is accustomed to going to the bathroom off-leash.

Availability
I am currently between jobs, so I am home most of the day and can accommodate your pup's usual schedule, whether that's three or five walks/potty breaks. If I am out, it will usually be for four hours max. Let me know if your dog can hang out freely in my apartment, or if they're accustomed to being crated when no humans are around. I am fine with either option.
