Pet care experience
I have been caring for dogs for the past 10 years. I am a former AKC dog handler and trainer (Irish and Gordon Setters). I have been the main dogsitter for my circle of friends for the past 3 years. I would love to expand my circle of four-legged friends and include yours! Please feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

Andrea was great! We had a worry free family trip over the holidays and our two large dogs seem to have enjoyed the extra attention they got without their normal toddlers hanging around.
Andrea has been pet/house sitting for me for about 6 years. She takes great care of both of my (now) 2 Sr dogs and 1 cat. She is always respectful of our home when staying and just does an all around amazing job with our animals including when they are taking medicine or have a special need.
Andrea did a wonderful job taking care of my senior dog and looking after my house. She provided updates throughout her time to ease my worry of how things were going with Zooey. Very professional and punctual.

My care for your pet will depend on your pet's needs. Lots of walks/ lovies. Other activities are always included. Dog parks, hiking when available, etc. are all things that I can and will do with your dog while you are away.

First and foremost, meet and greets are always important to ensure that we get along and your dog feels safe around me. I'd need to know about any special medications that are being taken, any allergies that are known, any aggressions to other animals or children or other people. All beings have a personality, so I would need to know more about your dog's personality and how I can best accommodate them during my stay with them. I would need to know about any daily routines that they have to ensure that they are kept as comfortable as possible while you are away.
A typical day
I love going on walks, and when the dog has the ability to, we will definitely be hitting up the dog parks! Although dog parks are a time for dogs to run free, I always keep a close eye on the pup that I'm with to ensure they are 100% safe. If the dog plays, fetch is always a thing. Playing with dogs is always just a great time!

Availability
I do work so I will be leaving the residence between 5 and 8 hours a day. Your pet will need to be able to be alone, whether crated or not, for that amount of time.
