Please let me know if there are specific skills or behaviors you're working on with your dog so that I can reinforce them and also so I don't accidently undo anything you've established. I understand completely how valuable it is to know your dog is getting the same care you'd give it yourself, and I will always respect your preferences in the details. I'm very comfortable giving medications or taking care of health needs. I have not taken an official dog first aid course, but have quite a bit of experience in treating and caring for a variety of concerns, allergies, injuries, and aging issues and am comfortable doing so. I'll always check with you first, keep you updated throughout the day, and be very careful to follow whatever instructions you provide. It's really important that I know what types of situations are most and least comfortable for your pet too, so that the time here with me is something that feels good and they are excited to come to. Being away from home and from you can be anxiety causing, so I want to do whatever I can to alleviate that. If you have a favorite toy to bring along from home, that would be great, too! If not, there are plenty here to play with.

Our home is next to a wide trail that is perfect for 20-30 minute walks when either the dogs or I need to take a quick break outside and move a little. Ours LOVE the water and an open run, so I load them up to get to the dog park or somewhere on the river as often as possible. If yours would enjoy that too, I'd love to have it join us! But our yard is large and full of things to explore, so they do that freely throughout the day. We have a special treat closet and they all come running when they hear it open. Your dog will learn this routine quickly!
