Hi, I'm a college student who is looking for some part time work. I have grown up with a household full of 3-5 dogs constantly, and the last 5 dogs that I have cared for have had disabilities ranging form epilepsies to paralysis. I'm vary familiar with with walking and caring for dogs with difficulty walking and medication. Thanks for taking the time to read my profile.

This was the first time we have used Rover and of course, Andrea for our dogsitting needs. Andrea was attentive to the dogs and she sent several pictures of our fur babies during her two night stay. How do we know she was attentive? The dogs were relaxed, calm, and happy upon our return home! We will definitely glad we decided to try Rover.
Andrea took great care of our dog for the week we were out of town. Will use her services again.
Andrea was wonderful. She was patient, kind and caring with our puppy. Even held her during a rainstorm when she became frightened. You couldn’t leave your pet on more responsible hands!!!

Caring for pets in a clients home would start with respecting personal boundaries of the client and only be in areas related to animal care. Then strictly following all rules and requests set out by the client for their animal's care. I treat every animal with the same respect as I would a child, because all household pets are just as important.

Its important for me to know of any disabilities, allergies and typical behavior around other animals. I am very comfortable with disabled pets, my prior experience is with giving medication and diaper changing. I also ask about normal behavior patterns with the dogs since every dog has its own personality.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on long walks and help simulate them with various toys and dog puzzles. The daily activities with a puppy are high energy and lots of play time, while with a senior dog its gonna be a lot more relaxed with a lot of breaks on the walk.

My current schedule only allows me to do afternoon drop ins and weekend care. Please still reach out if your needs are slightly outside of these parameters because some weeks my schedule provides me more flexibility than others.
