I have a wide range of experience in pet sitting, and have been lovingly caring for all kinds of dogs and other creatures for over 16 years. I also grew up always having dogs and cats in our home. I have cared for old dogs, young dogs, dogs with diabetes, dogs with dietary restrictions, and everything else in between. I am prepared to care for any pet big or small, as I love all kinds. I recently lost my 10 year old black lab Waylon. He was the best companion to many dogs over the years, and I love that his memory can live on with new and old friends that come to my home. While he is missed immensely, I had the opportunity to adopt Luna, a pyrnees husky mix, and I just couldn't say no to such a sweet face! Luna is a total sweetheart! She loves all dogs big and small, and is not short on energy. I adopted her on 9/3/2020, so we are still getting to know each other, but she has been a great addition to my home, and already making new friends on Rover! She loves humans, and I am still working on basic commands. She is a total cuddle bug and loves to snuggle and give kisses, but also good home alone. Luna is a best friend to humans and dogs alike! Our backyard is large and fully fenced. There is a lot of room to run and play and a large garden to discover and smell. There is great shade in the yard as well. I have five chickens, and depending on the dog they can either roam the yard to together, or the chickens can be securely locked up in their run. Thank you for your time and consideration, and I look forward to meeting you and your pup soon! **I work Monday-Friday as a Wine Rep, but I work from home a couple of days, and I can come home for lunch and potty breaks most days.** My husband is a wildland firefighter, so having the dogs around really becomes my whole world, especially when he is gone. My work schedule provides me a lot of flexibility, so I can accommodate their doggy schedules. I have a full fenced backyard with a minimum 6 foot fence. I also have three bedrooms and plenty of baby gates to give everyone the breaks they need. If a crate is provided, it will be setup and available for the dog as they like. For house sitting, I always follow detailed instructions of the owner, will maintain the pet’s schedule as best as I can so they can be calm while their parent is away. Pet security and safety is my top priority!
