Pet care experience
I have over 15 years of experience working with cats and dogs. Nothing brings me more joy in life than caring for our four-legged friends and getting to spend time with them every day. I recently began my journey in the veterinarian field and follow a fear-free practice with all my clients and pet parents. I love animals of all shapes, sizes and species, and I would love even more to help you care for your own pet. I can provide extra care and attention for special needs dogs and dogs with medical conditions of any kind.

Andrea provided a calm, safe environment and was very prompt and responsive to our questions. We got updates with pictures everyday. Our dog was well cared for and happy. Very pleased with our first time using Rover.

I currently do not offer in-home boarding, however I would love to drop-in to your home to visit with your fur baby while you are away. I care for three cats who are very curious, so safety and security are always at the forefront of my mind. While in your home, in addition to caring for your furbaby, I will do my best to ensure the safety and security of your animal.
Information Andrea H. would like to know about your pet
The most important things I would like to know are: - Does your dog have any dietary, medical or other lifestyle restrictions? (If there are items you do not wish your dog to have, such as certain toys, rawhide or bones, please include those.) - Is your pet socialized? - Do they know their doggy manners (commands such as their name, sit, stay, come, heel, etc.)? - Are they potty trained? - Does your dog have any potentially risky behaviors, like getting into the trash, chewing on non-dog toy items? Any and all information that you can provide is welcomed and appreciated. The more I know about your dog, the better care I can provide during their stay!
A typical day
From sunrise to sunset, fresh water, toys, bathroom breaks, play time, and lots of attention and affection are always readily available for each and every furry client. Any rules that you may have with your pup will of course be implemented so they continue to have their good doggy manners when you return.

I am currently working as a veterinary technician full-time in the city of Ontario, however, I am currently available for local early morning and evening drop-in visits.
