I hired Andi from a referral from a friend. Meet up went well. Hired her for 8 visits across four days, times were confirmed. I also had my son and a roommate helping with Lulu while I was on a business trip. Day three she showed up at 630 pm for the first visit stating that since my roomie was home she didn’t think she needed to make two visits. Today, day four with two visits scheduled SHE NEVER SHOWS nor communicated with me AT ALL. It’s 10 pm where I’m at and her explanation was that since the roommate told he would be home she didn’t need to come by — even though I had prepaid on my boss’s credit card for all 8 visits. She didn’t message me once about this. Just didn’t show up. Roommate could have been called to work or been sick as he’s been lately, doesn’t matter. You hire a professional sitter off this app and expect your dog to be cared for as agreed. I wanted so badly for this to go well and I am livid that she just decided and “assumed” that she didn’t have to go today but also failed to modify the booking and was planning on charging me for two drop ins today. I asked her to bring my key back immediately and she did. Two stars are for the two days she did what I hired her for, but you just don’t ever make assumptions about a clients needs without ever communicating with them directly. Lulu needed the extra care and she didn’t get it.
