I have always had a cat as pet but within the past 6-7 years have taken care dogs! A golden doodle of my brother’s who started out as a puppy, a German shepherd with a past boyfriend who was 3-4 years old at the time, an older Pomeranian of a friend’s & a 6-7 year old Bearded Collie (and one time their recent miniature cocakpoo puppy). I have walked all of the above (minus the Pomeranian who lived in a house with a fenced in yard, so we stayed and played in the yard along with going potty). dogs each with their own energy levels and maintained all of them. I have fed, given medications & provided basic brushing of coats. For the collie (and then cockapoo), I would watch and walk while owners were away on vacation 3x per day. The German Shepherd resided with myself & the golden doodle on visits. I am very responsible, nurturing and observant. I will treat your pet as if they are my own even if it’s just for a walk! I currently work from home while taking care of my mother, so I have the flexibility for hours as I have recently gotten additional care for her. I am a morning person but do not mind evening or night walks. I have reliable transportation. The Pomeranian I went to my friend’s house while they were away to let him out multiple times (as he has a bladder issue), feed him and play with him in the yard. The coworker’s dog I took care of did not have a fenced yard so potty walks around the neighborhood were necessary 3x a day. If the weather was nice we would go on longer walks 30-40 min sometimes. Where I reside I do have a fenced in yard, but not conducive to smaller dogs as there are some areas where the fence is not level to the ground and they might slip/dig under.
