Hello, I am so glad you are here! I am also so grateful to be here. After 10 years of working in the corporate world and 4 of those years also working as a part time pet sitter, I decided in 2021 it was time to follow my lifelong dream of working full time with animals. I feel so fortunate to combine my two passions every day now- I get to help animals AND people and I am exactly where I have always meant to be. I have two cats and two pups at home that I would do anything for, so I know what it is like to go away and hope our babies are getting the love and care that they need and deserve. Animals are such tender, genuine, and sensitive souls that provide us so much unconditional love and happiness. They deserve to receive all of this back at all times, especially while you are away and they are feeling down. I would love to keep your babies safe and shower them with affection and attention to help make the time apart from you as worry free as possible. I understand it is not just our pets who miss us while we are away, but you will be thinking about them as well so I will make sure to provide pictures and detailed updates daily. My goals are for both you and your furrbabies to feel peace, comfort, and happiness during your time apart. I have always loved animals so much and appreciate their quirks and differences.We can learn so much from them.. the way they love unconditionally, live in the moment, and can just be their true, authentic weird selves. I am the person who is at a world heritage sight and walks away from the guide because I see a cat or dog. I want to help and love them all, so this is my way of giving back to these gentle animals who have given me so much love and happiness my entire life. I have used Rover a lot over the years, and a pet sitter can make or break your vacation. I want you to be able to relax and know your furrbabies are in good hands. I will love them as my own and do whatever I can to make sure everyone is happy and at peace. I am independently insured, certified in pet safety and first aid, and can take care of the essentials (food, potty, medicine, walks, etc) as well as snuggle, play, companionship, and always aim to make sure everyone is happy and content. I have been around animals my entire life, whether they were my own, a family members, a friends, a neighbors, or a new furry friend I met while volunteering at an animal shelter. I have been very fortunate to spend the last 6 years working with them professionally and I am always picking up a new book or taking a class on how to better understand and care for our furry friends. I have worked as a canine coach so I have experience with a lot of breeds and have been trained to understand and respond to their body language and communication. I am responsible, reliable, consistent, and trustworthy, and I just ask for open communication and expectations as your sitter. I would love to help your time apart from your four legged children be as worry free as possible!
