Pet care experience
From the time I was a very little girl, I have always had pets: newts, a fire belly frog, cats, hamsters, goldfish, a chameleon, and my favorite - dogs! I've cared for many types of dogs: Shih Tzus, Lhasa Apsos, Pugs (one was deaf from birth), Weimaraners, Yorkies, and mixed breeds galore. I love, love, LOVE all dogs! My dogs have always been special members of the family. I will care for your dog like my own, because I know you love your dog and want him/her happy. He/she will be treated with great love and attention. My number one goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident in leaving your dog in my hands. I can't wait to meet your dog! Your time apart can be stress free when you leave your dog with me!

I love all dogs with wet noses and wiggly tails. Please let me know if your dog is an escape artist or daredevil (able to jump fences), scared of storms or other loud noises, a small game hunter, reasons he/she would show aggression, or any other special needs/behaviors. I would love to know your dog's routine and what makes his/her tail wiggle. It is important that your dog be current on all vaccinations and participating in a flea, tick, and heartworm prevention plan. The safety of all dogs - yours and mine - is very important to me.
A typical day
I have a large, fenced backyard perfect for playing fetch and sniffing squirrel tracks. Your dog and I will go for walks around the neighborhood (with your permission and weather permitting) and spend time snuggling on the couch. I would be happy to send photo updates about your dog and his/her stay as requested by you. Your peace of mind is very important to me.
