Pet care experience
Hi! I am a full time Gardnerville resident and would love to meet your furry friend. I am experienced with senior dogs and am very patient with our older friends who need a little more patience and tlc. But I also love a rambunctious youngster and would love to take your little one on fun hikes, walks or just a leisurely stroll around your neighborhood. I am available for walk visits, feeding visits or any visit your pet may need, even if it's just some love and a belly rub. I will also take small dogs into my home for overnight stays provided they are crate trained.

I have known Andrea for over half my life. She has been nothing but loving and caring to her own pets as well as taking care of mine and others. Animals love her and she loves them. She would make a very loving and caring caregiver for anyone's pets!
Andrea is super responsible and great with pets. She took excellent care of our dog and cats while we were away. She was very communicative and followed our instructions to a T. I would definitely book her again.

I have a large fenced yard with plenty of room for your bestie to run around and enjoy the outdoors. There are no other pets in my home and if I am watching your pet, he/she will be the only animal in my home during that time. If a pet is staying overnight, they will need to be crated. I do not allow pets to sleep in my bed, but they can sleep in the bedroom with me and my husband if that makes them more comfortable.

I am happy to handle with care older pet or pets that have disabilities. I can also hand feed your pet if necessary. I am not experienced administering medication, but am willing to learn. If you show me what is involved, I can take photos and/or video to see through these duties upon your absence.
A typical day
If your dog is staying with us, we live near several great hiking trails. If your pet likes long walks and hikes, I will take your furry friend to fun places so he/she can run around and release all that doggy energy! We also live near the dog park in Minden, if your dog would enjoy a romp with some other furry friends!

Availability
I am available seven days a week. I work 3 mornings out of the home, but am only gone for approximately 2 hours. My husband is home most of those times and can look after your little one while I am gone in case any issues were to arise during my absence.
