Making your dog's day makes my day!
Pet care experience
Hi there! Wouldn't it be nice to have the peace of mind knowing that your dog is receiving a fun, enriching, SAFE outing or visit while you are away? My Experience: I have 10+ years of experience caring for and walking dogs of many breeds and all sizes. I have cared for labs, retrievers, poodles, maltese, and a Husky-Shepherd-Rottweiler mix! I am knowledgable about breeds and their varying needs. What I can offer: I am athletic and can walk or run to suit your dogs energetic needs. I grew up in the area with a dog and know many on-leash and off-leash dog-friendly locations and I have a car to transport dogs to the funnest locations. I am a biology graduate beginning a masters of science who specialized in animal behaviour, therefore I am dependable, trust-worthy and very responsible. AND also very caring because I am truly a dog-lover! I look forward to making your dog's day!
Reviews
Andrea is one of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met when it comes to dog care. She is never one to shy away from dog washing, walking, or playing. Her studies into animal behaviour gives her exceptional insight into the animal's brain and, as a result, she has raised one of the best behaved and happiest poodles around. Andrea is responsible and hard-working. She is able to flexibly adapt to your schedule and can be at your house in a moment's notice. I would trust my dog to her any time at all. I personally seek her out whenever my miniature schnauzer needs to be taken care of when I'm away.
Andrea is the absolute best! She is competent and adores animals. She is caring, considerate and is knowledgable about dogs. When I was out of town I left my Maltese, Louie with her for a week. Prior to leaving him, Louie had issues walking in public without barking at every single person that came by. Having left him for a week with Andrea, I walk him in public and he has significantly changed for the better. He does bark every now and then but he seems more calm and at ease. He went from barking 100% of the time to maybe a 30%. She seriously has the nat for animals and she shows she truly cares for their well-being.

Information Andrea B. would like to know about your pet
To provide the best care for your dog, I would appreciate having and meet and greet to learn a bit about your dog. Some questions I'd have are: - What is the best way to walk your dog? - What kind of activities would your dog enjoy (a run, a leisurely walk and sniff, fetch?). - How is your dog with strangers and other dogs? - Does your dog have any quirks? For example: barking at bikes or herding cars? - Are there any training tactics you'd like me to do while walking your dog? I am happy to walk or visit any breed of dog. I can walk dogs over 100 lbs as long as they are not prone to pulling really hard on the leash. I am strong but I have my limits!
A typical day
--Walks-- Perhaps your dog has a favourite route or location or maybe your dog would enjoy exploring new territory. I can accommodate! I also have a car and am happy to transport your dog to dog-friendly locations like High Park. I can provide leisurely or brisk walks, running on-leash, off-leash romps, what ever activity your dog would enjoy most. I can also provide the treats, poop bags, and toys if you'd like! --Home Visits-- In addition to the basics (being taken out to go to the bathroom, being fed and provided with fresh water) your dog can enjoy undivided attention - playing fetch, tug-of-war, search and sniff, hide and seek with toys, and of course some love and affection. I can even help with training or brushing!
