Since childhood, our family has always consisted of at least one canine member (if not several) and it instilled a great love and sense of responsibility in me for dogs. After college, I moved to the Des Moines/Ankeny area, and a sweet Sheltie name Princess entered my life. I cannot describe the purpose and joy she added to my days. Unfortunately, last fall we lost our Princess, to some health issues. It has been difficult, but we have been volunteering at the Animal Rescue League and are excited at the idea of expanding on opportunities to work with and interact more with dogs in a different capacity. I am responsive, responsible, and have had plenty of personal and volunteer experience working with dogs. I believe I can be flexible to the needs of you, your family, and dog; and I cannot wait to meet you! I also have experience working with service dogs and dogs with health concerns.
