Pet care experience
When I first offered to take care of my neighbor’s dog I never imagined that I’d end up here! I’ve had dogs growing up but it’s been an incredible joy and privilege to get to hang out with so many lovely pups. I look forward to meeting every new pet and getting to know their quirks. I strive to create a warm and loving environment for your pet while you’re away and treat them as I would my own dog (yes that includes frequent kisses and pupiccino trips). I also maintain a low-fragrance home and keep irritants and pollutants to a minimum. If your dog requires special accommodations, please let me know and I’ll happily work with you to create the most safe and comfortable environment possible for your sweet furry friend. Rest assured, your dog will get the Four Seasons treatment - unlimited belly rubs included!

Andjela is incredible! She gave us regular updates, was incredibly responsive to our MANY questions lol, and super flexible with our drop off and pick up times. When we dropped him off, she asked really thoughtful questions about his care and made sure to thoroughly understand his quirks and needs. Andjela is so lovely and our dog, Boogie, was SUPER happy to stay with her. And he was so well taken care of. We will absolutely be repeat costumers.
Amazing service! Super attentive and kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos! Took her walking everyday and really took care of our dog like her own! Couldn’t recommend Andjela highly enough!

As I mentioned, I’ll treat your dog as my own so they have free reign over my apartment! If your dog requires it, I can accommodate crating but it’s not necessary. I also make an effort to keep a nontoxic home and maintain a pup-safe environment. If needed, I’m happy to give your dog a bath and do some light grooming (although I’m by no means a professional groomer). During walks, I prefer to keep dogs on a tight leash. If your dog doesn’t get along with other dogs or has any other behavioral quirks, please let me know so that I can prepare accordingly.

Please let me know if your pup experiences any behavior problems or has anxiety so that I know how to approach their care. I will only feed your dogs with the food you provide, but might occasionally include a dog-safe treat. If your dog has food allergies, please let me know. For dogs that aren’t leash trained or could use some help, it would be great if you provided their favorite treats and I can train them to be more obedient on walks. In addition, I'd love to know their favorite games, treats, and hangout spots.
A typical day
I love going to the dog park and the Montrose dog beach (on warm days)! If that’s something your dog enjoys, let me know and I’ll make sure to include socializing in your dog’s stay. I also have a running list of dog-friendly neighborhood spots and love to take the pups everywhere I go. My local deli gives treats to every dog I bring in and it’s usually a hit with the pups. If you have a dog with higher activity needs, I’d love to take them to the park and play fetch.

Availability
Currently, I work remotely part-time and I’m in my final year of a grad program. I spend a good amount of time working from home and I’m rarely out for more than 4-5 hours. But mainly I’m a huge homebody and spend a lot of time with the pets!
