I love animals of all kinds and will treat your pets lovingly with the care you expect and deserve. Spoiling your pet with a lot of love and personalized attention while keeping them safe and secure are my main goals as your pet sitter. While your pup enjoys his staycation with me at my home, he will have lots of hugs, play time, walks, and a very calm atmosphere to relax in. I am also a very active person- if your pup is up for it, he can join me on any of my hiking, camping, or bike riding adventures in our beautiful spring weather! I will be as active or relaxed as your dog needs- anything your dog requires for a safe and happy stay, I will gladly provide. I strive to always carefully follow your instructions. I am an animal advocate with extensive animal handlers and training experience. For many years, I have worked as an animal volunteer and foster parent for animals to be adopted. I have a soft spot for dogs of all kinds, and over the years have personally adopted spaniels, terriers, doodles, shepherds, and cats. I promise to treat your pet as if it is my own, play with it, give it tons of attention and love, and make sure it is fed and comfy while in my care. I have cared for my neighbors and friends pets for the past 30 years. I'm known by all as being a loving pet mom. I am looking forward to meeting you and your pet(s) soon! I am available daily for walks, drop-ins, day care, house sitting, or boarding. I have experience training dogs and working with rescued animals. Our dogs are rescues and they were trained by me. They are now certified therapy animals. Also, I feel comfortable giving medications and caring for older animals or those with special needs. Over the years, my family has had a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, fish, and bunnies. Growing up in the midwest farm country, we all learned to take care of horses, cattle, goats, pigs, and chickens! We are familiar with many types of animals and feel comfortable following your specific instructions for their care. I have experience working with animals that need extra attention or care due to a rough past or neglect. As their foster mom, my dogs are rescues that came from neglectful situations and had to be nursed back to health. Both have undergone amazing transformations and are happy, healthy, loving, and playful now. Our two dogs enjoy meeting new furry friends and sharing their home, beds, toys, and humans! We would love to connect with you at a meet and greet or schedule a play date at a park to get to know you. I'm available every day of the week to board, walk, house sit, or drop-in on your pets. My family enjoys playing with the animals I care for, giving treats, and reinforcing training. We all love animals and think of our pets as members of our family. We will treat your pet as if they are one of the family too, with much love, cuddles, and stimulating play time together. Outside, our backyard has an enclosed yard and a patio with mulched areas. It has sunny spots for dogs who like to charge up in the sun, and trees that provide shade for dogs that like to lay on the cool paver tiles. I also have soft-sided camping crates outside with fluffy dog beds inside for those who love to lounge in the fresh air. Inside, I have tile flooring throughout. my front door has a gate, and I have a secondary gate just inside the entrance, and my family enters the house through the garage for added security coming and going. I have station areas set up into what my friends call "doggy wonderland", with a toy area, dog beds, treat puzzles, balls and frisbees, a chewy toy area, stuffed animals and fluffy blankets and dog beds, and private dog crates if your dog likes down-time. I take note of which areas you dog like the most and keep a binder of info so that I am ready with their favorites on repeat visits. I am a teacher but currently off work and available daily for any service you require. I will follow any instructions you leave very carefully, and will communicate with you multiple times daily to let you know how your pets are doing. My schedule is flexible and I'm ready to accommodate your pet care needs, whether it's in my home or yours. My home has a fully tiled downstairs that leads out to a large back patio with planters and mulched areas. I have trees for shady spots and outdoor camping kennels with fluffy dog beds for dogs who like to rest outside. My neighborhood park is only a few houses away and a great place to walk dogs. The park has grass and trails, with many trees, bushes, plants and flowers to sniff. I live in a safe neighborhood with wonderful pet-loving neighbors who often use me as their go-to for their pet care needs. They are accustomed to seeing me walking dogs a few times daily. We even set up play dates in the park and let our dogs run around and have fun inside a safe gated area that I set up for us. I am available every day of the week for your pet care needs. I can watch them at my house or yours, the choice is yours! I have a fenced yard with a patio in the back of my house for dogs to play in, as well as a grassy neighborhood park. I walk dogs a half mile at least twice daily. I have 2 sons that live at home that help play with and entertain our furry guests! I have 2 therapy dogs that love meeting new playmates and get along with all other animals! I am currently teaching online from home and will have a lot of time to care for your pets and give them my undivided attention. I have a fenced yard in a gated neighborhood with several parks and open spaces to walk your dogs. My neighborhood is across the street from Paseo Verde Park, and dow the street from Dos Escuelas Park and Dog Park! I have friendly dogs that love making new friends!
