Your house-trained pet(s) will have the run of our 2,200-square-foot house in Bethesda, with a quarter-acre, 80%-fenced backyard (don't worry, everyone will stay on leashes when we're outside!). If you have a cuddler, he or she will have a happy recipient of doggie snuggles here -- we love dogs but don't have any (or any other pets, either). So even pups that don't get along with other dogs can come stay. We do have a toddler son, but he is not an ear- or tail-puller and mostly likes to just observe dogs. Dog guests must be OK with little kids. We work during the day, but one of us works from home so midday walks are no problem. Your dog(s) will also be walked first thing in the morning before I leave for work, and right away upon my return home in the evenings. We also do a pre-bedtime walk. There are periods when we're both out for several hours at a time, but if your pets are OK with this, they'll be the king or queen of the castle while we are gone and can nap on our comfy leather sofas. *PLEASE NOTE: Due to several recent guest 'accidents,' I now ask that I be reimbursed in the event professional cleaning or replacement of personal items is needed.
