Pet care experience
I come from an animal-loving family (my aunt has a pet sitting and holistic care business) and grew up in a home that always had 2-3 furry family members. I lived in DC for 9 years but am back in FL now. Five years ago I rescued a beautiful Australian Kelpie/Shepherd mix (Joey). She is crazy well-behaved but we still work on her training regularly. After Joey had settled into her new home I began volunteering as a foster for the same local rescue organization that brought me Miss J. We've housed a range of pups, many fresh from shelters or unstable situations. Joey and I always do our best to make our guests feel loved and comfortable. If you have any concerns about my attention to detail, ability to multi-task, or ability to handle just about anything, you should know that in my 9-to-5 world I am an Events Manager. I now work for REI so my work week is not M-F.

Anastasia was amazing! She took care of Duke will ease and he had a great time with her and her dog. She made everything easy for me from drop off to pick up. She was flexible and available according to our schedule. Duke came home an extremely happy and tired pup.
This was my first time using Rover and I feel so grateful that we found Anastasia. She is clearly crazy about dogs, she provided a safe place for Fennel to stay and play and provided us with updates throughout his stay. Her knowledge and experience with English Springer Spaniels made her the perfect choice. I would leave Fennel with her again anytime.
Anastasia was great, flexible, and accommodating to our last minute pet sitting needs. She was very compassionate to our shy lab retriever and we highly recommend her!
Yoshi was SO excited to stay with Anastasia and Joey again! He couldn't wait to get inside once we got to the apartment, and from watching him wrestle with Joey and another puppy pal Frankie before we left, I am pretty sure he had the time of his life during his stay. He was one tired and happy pup when we picked him up!

A typical day
My sweet girl, Joey, and I live in Riverside. We usually take a short walk through the neighborhood once a day and another, longer walk (usually down to the river) once a day. If your pup is on the shy side or doesn't do well with a lot of social stimulation, avoiding the dog park won’t mean a loss of exercise with us.
