Hello, my name is Anya and I am certified in Veterinary Assisting and I have also received education in animal care/animal training, as well as pet sitting (can show proof of my certification and training). I have owned a variety of pets ever since I was a small child and have been working with animals ever since middle school when I would care for my neighbor’s Livestock after school as well as help out at the local stables and pet sit/dog walk for my neighbors. My first official job at the age of sixteen was with a Zoological Society, where I aided each department including the animal keepers on a day to day basis; I also continued to dog walk as well as pet sit many different kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to the more exotic breeds of reptiles, fish and birds, just on a more unofficial basis. I have also personally owned dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, rodents, etc. I have plenty of hands on experience and I always make a point to keep written records for every pet I watch over as far as each individual owners expectations and directions for caring for their animal. I do live in a high end gated spacious apartment community - you only have the option of house when you’re setting up a boarding profile, so that was the only option I could choose, so apologies - but I assure you my home is a dogs home in every way, I just live in it 😂 and whatever I lack by not living in a large house I certainly make up for in outdoor space for the doggos to run around and play! As far as watching your critter within the parameters of your own home, my motto is to leave the place cleaner/better than how I found it, and keep you up to date on how they are doing throughout the day, so no worries! I have taken care of all kinds of critters over the years - domestic, livestock, caged, special needs … whatever your pet requires I am ready and willing to give it! Pick up and drop off on average is ideal after 4:30pm but I am very flexible and willing to find a time that is convenient for everyone! I live in a lush gated community with an X-large dog park and a large fenced in area directly attached to my apartment that truly ought to be considered a yard and I do! My apartment itself is wide open and critter friendly — with plenty of room to run around and play, it’s safe to say that they truly will rule the roost 😁
