Pet care experience
I’ve had dogs for 5 years and I have worked at multiple doggy daycares! I do not believe in punishments, and only use positive reinforcement. Dogs are genuinely my favorite living things ever and they deserve nothing but the best! I have handled about 20-30 dogs alone at a time.

Ananya has been sitting our dogs for 2 years now! She loves them and keeps them engaged…..she follows all our instructions, as one of our dogs has a lot of allergies. They are always excited to see her. I would recommend her always!

I know how to read dogs and can tell when dogs are frustrated, overwhelmed, under stimulated, etc. If they are in an unsafe situation, I will have already picked out a place to put them while I fix the situation, such as broken glass.

I just like to be aware of how they will be on walks and how they like to play. I also like to be aware of any health concerns/aversions to anything. Food restrictions are important, as well as how you discipline (hand gestures, tone, etc.) If there are multiple pets in the home, I would like to know how their dynamic is.
A typical day
I like to see the way the dogs are to begin with. When it comes to dogs who aren’t good with people, I will often find a private fenced area, and if the dogs are good with people, I will take the dogs to monroe park, playgrounds, long walks to capitol, and other areas in your own area! I also have some fun puzzle toys to bring!!

I’m a full time student with a dog of my own so I am very available for drop ins/walks, but it could vary for house sitting depending on how my puppy is!
