Working with dogs and owners isn’t a past time or source of extra income… it’s a passion for me! I have nearly 12 years of experience as a dog trainer and have worked with a wide variety of breeds from Great Danes to chihuahuas and everything in between. I'm used to dealing with all ranges of temperaments and behaviors. Patience, understanding, experience, and science based techniques I believe are the most effective ways to train and live with pets, so know your dog would be in great hands. Overall I'm enthusiastic and responsible and you can be assured that your pet would be in the utmost care. I’m a certified behavior consultant (CBCC-KA) helping families in need of behavior modification for their dog (reactivity, aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, fear/escape behaviors, etc) through my own business.

Ana took amazing care of our french and and english bulldog while we were away. She went above and beyond, could not of asked for a better sitter! The dogs loved her and we will definitely be reaching out to her again.
Analyn was truly incredible with our dog, who can be anxious and difficult with new people at times. But Analyn is an expert with dogs and knew exactly how to approach our dog so that he was quickly comfortable with her. Her communication with me was consistent and exceeded my expectations. We feel so lucky to have found someone who can expertly care for our sweet but nervous pet! We won’t hesitate to book with Analyn any time we are needing a pet-sitter. She’s top tier, I don’t think anyone could do a better job!
Rough start to the sit but boomeranged back to a great experience
Absolutely cannot recommend Analyn enough. Great communication, very thorough in up-front inquiry and intro meeting. When we returned home, everything in place, almost no sign that she had been there, other than an empty Kong and happy dog! Will check with her first in the future.

Your pet would be treated like family and any rules that the owner enforces, I would enforce as well. My pup is crated during the day and I usually recommend that my clients dogs are crated when I need to leave as well (you never know what a pup in a new environment will want to get into!). I have boarded many different dogs over the years- nervous, shy, exuberant, elderly, etc- but it’s my goal to have your pup leave with a second home!

A typical day
As a trainer I will reinforce behaviors we like and be sure to interrupt behaviors that we don’t (humping, too rough play, etc.). Outside is playtime, inside is quiet and relaxing time.

My schedule varies week to week as I travel to my clients homes to work with them and their dogs. I am usually flexible in accommodating the dogs that I board or house sit for.
