Pupper Lover With Weekday Avail!

Pet care experience

Two things that make me the happiest are performing and animals! I’m already pursuing theatre performance as a career, so I decided that the time was right for me to branch out into helping animals as well! I’ve always had a dog in my life and can’t remember a time when I wasn’t administering love and care to a pup. I just love taking care of them! I currently have lots of weekday availability, with some additional flexibility on the weekends as well. During our stay, we’d get to spend a lot of time together! Since I do have a good deal of flexibility on weekdays, I’m a good match for owners with busy workday schedules or pups that just enjoy having a human presence around them during the day! I typically work at my side job for just a few hours per day on weekdays (usually from 4-7) and on the weekends (4-7 or 5-8), and I head to auditions whenever they arise, which I typically know of at least a week in advance. For new puppy/owner clients, I like to schedule meet and greets before booking. I want to make sure that any and all of my doggie clients and their parents feel comfortable with me! At a meet and greet, I would like to become acquainted with their favorite games, kind of treats, and toys first and foremost. That way I would know how to comfort them and show them that I want to be their friend! I do not have any breed preference, although I’d prefer small to medium sized dogs in my home, as I am in an apartment - for their sake and mine! I also would want to know what to look out for in terms of anything the dog fears or is threatened by. I’d want to know what to expect when we go on walks (i.e., how they interact with other dogs, people, and children) and if there’s anything specifically I can do that their owner does to calm their dog down if tense situations arise. I know being easy to communicate with is a very important thing for owners entrusting their pets to a new person, so I will be available whenever you need to get in touch with me--whether it be by call or text. If the owner would prefer getting text updates throughout the day or perhaps just twice a day, I am happy to send text and pictures along to you so you can see just how your pup is doing! I’d make sure to ask the necessary questions beforehand regarding the usual schedule for feeding times or bedtimes, what activities your pup likes or dislikes, if there are any physical concerns or environmental factors that I should be aware of. I am also happy to administer medications so long as they do not have to be injected. I live right near the biggest park in New York, Pelham Bay Park. It’s one of my favorite spots because you’d never expect such a huge park to be in the Bronx! There’s a lot of places we could go there, there’s a long path we could walk or run on, they have many open fields for playtime, and they have a doggy park too! Depending on how comfortable the pupper is with other dogs, I’d love to go to these spots!

Love having Analise watching my dogs while I am at work. She gives a full detail update with pictures everyday she visits! She’s very caring and flexible with the time. Thank you so much! And highly recommend her service!

Analise was nice enough to stop by for a meet and greet before booking. This made Bentley (my 4 month toy poodle) and I very comfortable with requesting her services. She’s been very responsive every time I’ve reached out. Analise was accommodating enough to follow a detailed list of instructions I sent her. She kept me informed while she was with Bentley. He was so excited to see and play with her. She’s great. I trust her in my home and I trust her with Bentley. I hope to continue to have Analise take care of Bentley.

Analise was AMAZING!!! We left our dog with her at our apartment for a week while we went out of the country and she did a fantastic job. Our dog has anxiety so we were hesitant to leave her but Analise could not have been better. She kept us informed about how she was doing and sent pictures as well. Our dog looked so happy and totally relaxed which made us feel so relieved. Analise did absolutely everything we asked and gave our dog so much love while we were gone. I would absolutely recommend Analise!

Really enjoyed working with Analise so far. She is passionate about animals and our dog is always very happy to see her. We have not had her as a sitter (yet!) but would definitely recommend her for walks! She has been excellent in communicating with us so far and is very flexible with her schedule.

Information Analise R. would like to know about your pet

Some things I like to learn ahead of time: Would you like to schedule a meet-and-greet before the stay? What’s your preferred method of communication? Does your pup have any health issues that need to be tended to? For instance, dietary restrictions, medicine, or behavior triggers? Does your pup like to stick to a given schedule, like regular walks in the morning and evening? What does your pup do well around? What does your pup try to avoid? What’s the best way to spoil your pup?

A typical day

If I were taking care of your pup for a few days, we would go for walks or runs to the nearest park, spend a while just walking out in the open air among the trees and the grass, play some games (fetch, maybe create some sort of an obstacle course together), and, when we’re all tired out, we would go back home, eat some food, cuddle up and watch movies together! In addition to outings to the park, I also like hitting the trails too! There’s just nothing better than having a canine co-pilot alongside you for a good hike. I am still searching for any good hikes around NYC, but if we were upstate NY, it would be so fun to explore the Minnewaska State Park together as I’m really familiar with those trails! But other than that, we can make those park trails in the city work! Wintertime in NY can be a super cold time, so in my spare time, I usually like to watch a lot of shows on Netflix or Hulu, read, or sing along to music! I always love company doing those things!
