11 years ago my younger brother was gifted a pitbull, against my parent's permission of course, which I ended up raising and who became my best friend. From then on, I became enamored by dogs. I am a high energy person and love to do fun activities with dogs! I quickly bond with them and also understand that each dog has a unique personality which requires a unique approach. I was the exclusive dog sitter for a very adorable, stubborn, alpha, 115 lbs golden retriever since I was one of the very few people who knew how to take care of him and whom he would listen to. Overall, I have experience raising puppies, taking care of older, low energy dogs, high energy dogs, and also dogs that require a more firm approach. I have also done some research on dog behavior and I am a level headed person, even in new territory I will stay calm and find a way to best take care of your dog's needs!

Our dog Ruth, who is usually quite shy, took to Anahi immediately upon meeting her. Anahi communicated well with us throughout the entire Rover process and was flexible with her time. Highly recommend :)
Anahi has been a close friend of mine for 3 years and one of her defining characteristics is how much she cares for dogs. She is always willing to help out with dog-sitting and walking of her friend's dogs, always treating them with care and compassion. She has frequently helped dog-sit my foster dogs while I've been away for the day or the weekend. Anahi will be a wonderful Rover sitter!!
Anahi is one of the only people I would whole heartedly trust with my pug. She is very good with animals and extremely compassionate. I’ve seen her dog sit and she treats the dogs as if they were her own. She is attentive and caring, and extremely patient which is so important when it comes to animals. She would make an amazing addition to the Rover team. No one would ever have to worry about the care of their animals with her as their walker!

I live in a quadruplex, there are 4 units who share a fenced yard. I have lived here for over a year and I am good friends with all of my neighbors. We have a group chat together and always watch out for each other. There is 1 dog in the building, a 4 year old male who is super friendly and sweet! He gets along with any person or dog. I have taken care of him multiple times so he knows me well. My building is dog friendly and all of my neighbors love dogs, yours will be warmly welcomed! I also live walking distance (10 min) from to the beach, 1 park, and 1 dog park, your dog will not be bored! I have 2 roommates who are also dog lovers and are super excited to meet the dogs I bring around!

Availability
I am currently a graduate student mainly focusing on my own research project, which means that I can make my own schedule. I am available weekdays in the mornings and after 5 pm. I also typically work from home 1 day a week (usually Thursdays) which means that I am available for dog walking at any time that day. My entire weekend is open for pet care anytime!
