Reliable and fun pet sitter!

Pet care experience

I grew up with many dogs throughout my life. I currently have an 11 year old toy poodle who has been in the home since I was in second grade! I am finishing my Associates Degree at Sandhills with my last two classes and have a very flexible schedule! I have experience with dogs, cats, birds, and turtles! I have worked with big dogs, small dogs, puppies, or multiple dogs at once! I enjoy going on long walks with dogs and getting some exercise or cuddling up on the couch with them while watching tv! I also send pictures or videos during my visits and sleepovers frequently so you know how your fur babies are doing! All pets are welcome! Can’t wait to meet yours!❤️🐶

Ana was great at making me feel comfortable while on our trip. She communicated consistently and our boys love her. Also, the house was in great shape when we returned. Highly recommend.

Ana was very communicative and provided great updates of my dog Buddy. Buddy seemed happy and even better behaved than when I left after having Ana check in on him! I left a laundry list of instructions as my dog can be a handful, but she handled it all wonderfully!

Ana is my #1 sitter. I know that she loves my dog and will give him attention and excellent care. She goes above and beyond by bringing in my mail and newspaper and the house is left in great condition!

I have never left a bad review for a sitter before this and feel bad for doing so but I believe all pet owners should know what happened. Ana overdosed one of my dogs with her incontinence medication because she didn't read all my instructions I left thoroughly which is extremely negligent when you have dogs in your care that require medication. My typed instructions indicated that she got anxiety meds in the evening which I showed to her (in a pill bottle on the counter), but I left her a note on top of the typed instructions in RED INK stating that she did not need her anxiety medication because I'd given it to her before I left. Molly's incontinence meds are in a pill dispenser and that was also indicated in the typed notes. She gave Molly an extra dose of the incontinence meds with dinner so I ended up having to contact the emergency vet who instructed me to contact poison control because of potential overdose. She had to be monitored for 12 hours for overdose and I was our $75 for a poison control consult. On top of that, we had agreed that Ana be at our house by dinner time, which we specified as 5 pm, to spend the night with our dogs. She didn't get to our house to feed our dogs until 8 pm, then let me know after I was already gone, that she had to pick her boyfriend up from work at 11:30 because they share a vehicle. She had to take my poor dog with her so she could continue monitoring for overdose, and didn't actually get back to my house until 1:30 am. She was pretty apologetic until I started asking her for a partial refund due to her negligence and not being at my house for a lot of the time we had asked her to be, then she started arguing with me and was extremely unprofessional. She told me my instructions were too long and should have been reduced to one page and that I shouldn't have asked her to pet sit for me because she lived 15 miles away and that 5 animals was a lot to put on her. Umm...that's the responsibility of the sitter to speak up if the job is too much. I even asked her at the meet and greet if she felt OK doing it or if I was going too fast with instructions and she said no, that she felt comfortable with it. She did end up issuing a partial refund of $80 which just barely covered my call to poison control due to her negligence. She only wanted wanted refund me $33 originally so I had to ask her for the $80. Pet parents please beware of this sitter as she is not thorough and doesn't like to take responsibility for her shortcomings.
