Hi there! My names Ana and I’m a navy veteran offering (almost) 24/7 pet care to the Austin area! I’m a full time student luckily committing only 4 hours a week for in class time and so many more hours available to snuggle your pets! I’d like to extend a warm hello to you if you’re reading this and considering me as your sitter - I feel grateful you’re willing to entrust me with your beloved fur babies. 🐾background🐾 I’ve been on Rover for 6 years and loving every minute of it. I’ve cared for animals in Washington state, Boston, and along the gulf coast - and now I’ve planting some roots in Austin! My whole life has involved animals of varying degrees, from an elderly poodle, to raising two German shepherds from 8 weeks, rescuing a kitty, and babysitting my friends snake. I just rescued a 2 year old German shepherd/pit bull mix, too! I have a lot of love, knowledge, and patience to give, and I’m here to share it with you! 🐾 So what can I help you with? 🐾 With my current situation, I have all the time and space to give out my love to your fur babies while you’re away! 👵🏼I have extensive experience with elderly animals, this includes but is not limited to: administering medications oral or by shot, extra care if blind or deaf, needing to be picked up or carried due to hip/joint problems, or dealing with emergent concerns with great communication. I also have years of experience with larger breeds since I’ve now had 3 German shepherds - there isn’t much that’s a challenge for me and this includes reactive dogs, too as I deeply understand the struggle. 🐾requests I love & extras I offer🐾 -any elderly dog needing extra lovings -puppies!! -longer house sittings -will water plants, have cleaned pools before, fill the bird feeders, and I’m known to leave sweet desserts and thank you cards! 💛If you made it this far, I hope you plan on reaching out and thank you again for considering me as a sitter. Saying Ana is amazing would be an understatement. I had to leave my cats for a week and she went above and beyond with cleaning and taking care of them while I was away. I would absolutely recommend using Ana if you need someone to take care of your pets!
Our loss is Austin’s gain. Ana has been a spectacular sitter for our zoo. On our return, you would never know she’s was ever there. The house is clean and our animals are happy and well taken care of. She provided cute picture updates showing showing happy and healthy pets.. She loves them as much as we do. We cannot say enough Great things about Ana. She met all of my requirements in what I was looking for in a sitter. My toy poodle is blind and not social so I have never left her with anyone. But I could not take her on our last two trips. Ana has House/Dog sat for us twice. She took Meesha for daily strolls around the neighborhood and sent photos. On her last sit, she handled Meesha's medical emergency with calm and care. She even had to take our Meesha across state lines to an emergency vet. There was no accident involved. Our Meesha unexpectedly got an intestinal infection. It was scary. She never made us feel like we needed to cut our trip short. I wish we had found Ana sooner. My only complaint is that she is moving out of state and we won't be able to get her to sit for us anymore. I am so sad. We wish her all the best and will miss her dearly. She is "One in a Million". No breed preferences! A little bias on large breeds and Shepherd just because I had one ;) No dog has been a challenge for me but I’m always up for one! Everything is a learning experience. PLEASE be honest about any and all behavioral issues to include: antsy around kids / other dogs, takes a long time to warm up to strangers, sometimes won’t eat - anything!
A typical day
I love frisbee with dogs and look for any excuse to be by the water or at the park. I’m constantly looking for new parks to enjoy especially with summer around the corner! We would play fetch at the park or yard, take walks around the city or neighborhood, maybe go swimming if your dog can swim? Really any activity! I love the outdoors.

Availability
As a full time student and have class in person ~4 hours total a week and that is my only commitment. I love being outside so me and your pup will spend a lot of time in the grass and playing!
