My name is Ana and I've owned dogs for 9 years and cats for 12. I raised an Aussie puppy from 8 weeks old as well so I have the full spectrum of puppy experience. I've also cared for rabbits, birds, and guinea pigs so don't hesitate to ask for alternative care. I lead a VERY active lifestyle and can take your pups to swim/paddleboard at lakes, play at parks or hike if they enjoy the great outdoors and are comfortable in those environments. My personal experience with dogs comes from owning two Australian Shepherds and the two Pitbulls I currently live with. With an active breed like that, it was very usual for me to take my pups to the beach, mountain, and hiking just to keep them happy and I will gladly do the same for you. Expect amazing outdoor photos! I will always treat your animals as if they are my own, showering them with love and attention. Please let me know all of their favorite things to do so I can make recreate their normal routine while you are away. Also, expect to always find your place cleaner than you left it :) I can't wait to meet you and your lovely furry family members!

Our animal pack (dogs Cody & Teddy, and cat Piper) absolutely LOVED Ana! It was such a breath of fresh air to work with someone who is genuinely passionate about animals. Ana was extremely communicative while we were out of town. We felt extremely comfortable and trusting of Ana, who always kept us updated and in the loop on all things the three musketeers were doing during the day. Ana took care of our two dogs at our house for a week. She communicated regularly, took care of the house, and most importantly took great care of the dogs. Will definitely be using her again!
First off our Dog Brock doesn’t really like very many people besides his parents! As soon as we introduced him to Ana! He was so friendly and even playing with her on day 1, that was a great sign. We booked Ana for a 4 night stay at our home to dog sit/house sit. She did a amazing job and left our house tidy and clean even washed our sheets! She played with Brock multiple times a day and they both had a great time! Well def use Ana again for trips and check ins! She’s great! Communicated with pictures throughout the stay which made me feel relaxed with her watching our baby! She’s awesome highly recommended! - Sarah, Joe and Brock!

My approach to dog watching and raising comes from a place of informed dog psychology and positive reinforcement. It is very important to me that dogs (and animals of all kinds) get treated with the utmost respect and dignity for their intelligence and are given the time and training needed to really understand them. There are no bad animals, just misunderstood or improperly trained ones. Hopefully, we can work from a place of mutual love and respect for your loved ones to make sure you are beyond comfortable leaving them in my care.

How long can they be left alone? Are they good for field trips to trails or patios? I stay with them as much as possible but also still go out and want to know this!
A typical day
I will always take your pups where they are most comfortable with, where we can walk or play all the fetch their hearts desire. I go hiking, walking, or paddleboarding on a weekly basis and can bring them along for this too based on their level of training and leash manner. Rest assured your fur babies will have a blast when they're away from you. I will always keep in touch with you through text messaging and pictures of all the fun we are having together!

I'm currently a grad student at UNT but have a very open schedule, able to accommodate last minute requests, long stays, odd hours etc. I can even help book a stay same/ next day. Please reach out and I'll respond almost immediately!
