Pet care experience
I own a Portuguese Water Dog and find the dog walks an important part of our collective therapy. We are partial to our off-leash outdoor woods walks, but also do the neighborhood leash walk or local dog park. My own dog Mopsy is a calm, confident, non-reactive, and content pet. She is a young elderly 8.5 year old female who tends to calm down other dogs. On occasion, if she creates a bond, she plays with specific pals. We like to meet new pets one at a time in an outdoor supervised setting to ensure that they feel safe and calm to set them up for success in getting along.

We pick up and drop off at your home during your business hours at agreed upon times. We’ll clean up your pet’s paws after our adventures and make sure they have plenty of water upon returning home. Lots of supervision during walks as our group walks are limited to 4 at a time. We check for behavior issues to make sure everyone in our pack gets along.

I gather information about house training and marking behavior, food guarding behavior, anxieties or stressors, food or treat allergies, dietary restrictions, the name of your vet, emergency contact details, and whether or not you would authorize me to take your pet directly to the vet in case of emergency. Finally, we do an in person meet & greet to ensure my pet gets along with yours.
A typical day
Outdoor off-leash walks at local walking path locations, fetch in fields for dogs that enjoy that. and plenty of time for rough and tumble play sessions as long as the dogs are showing signs of consent.

Availability
We do late morning or late afternoon group walks with pick up and drop offs. We can make arrangements to do daily walks or a few times per week, but to ensure that the dogs get along, we do intake appointments to check for behavior and consult on vaccination record, insurance, and any particulars of your pet to look out for.
