Hi, I'm Amylee. I LOVE animals and words on a website can NOT truly express how much joy I get from taking care of them each day. Dogs and cats are my life's passion. I have worked for over eight years as a professional pet care provider in Maryland, and have cared for dogs & other small animals my entire life, I believe your pooch is happiest when kept on a routine similar to what he or she is used to at home, I provide walks or potty-breaks per your request in addition to plenty of gentle petting,play & exercise with my friendly dogs,. My home has a large fenced-in yard. There is a spacious park-like area 3 min walking distance from my house. I'll send you daily pictures & videos as you like. After a pet has stayed here, many clients say that their pooches act as if they've found their second home; they can tell they were loved & treated like family here. ( **I am available to provide pet-sits & drop-in visits at your home as well.) I am loving,reliable,and detail-oriented,as you can read in my reviews. I also have hard-copy references which speak of my professionalism, as well as the care, time and attention I will give to your furry family member. Honey & Blue are my pups. they get along incredibly well with other dogs & we've even enjoyed having a cat as our guest! Honey is older, he will greet your dog with a sniff, & then go lay on the couch. I have cared for small & large breed dogs,lots of cat breeds,and pets with medical/special dietary needs. I am glad to take special requests. I've also taken care of exotic birds, fish, guinea pigs & other small animals. I am used to administering pills & injections, and will gladly help with a few homeowner chores such as bringing in mail, packages & watering plants. Amylee put in extra time to try and visit with our very shy cats. She was very conscientious to get everything right.
Amylee is fantastic! She did a great job with our dog Blue. Prior to sitting for us we met with her and a few other sitters. She was the only one who asked questions about Blue's personality and care. The questions she asked were well thought out and very relevant. You could tell she has a lot of experience. Blue is also skittish around most people and won't let them touch him. Amylee paid attention to his cues and did not pressure him to make friends, but after a short while he was letting her pet him. During her visits she made sure to give him excellent care. She walked and fed him and provided him with his medicine. We would definitely recommend her and would have her come by again.
Amylee did a fantastic job taking care of my pet when I went away for a trip. She followed my page long instructions one by one and wrote a note on each visit about my pet's specific mood and behavior that day. She even brought toys so that they could play since I did not have toys at my place. She sent me pics everyday after her visit and she called me when she had concerns. I am more than satisfied with her help and would definitely rebook for my next trip.
Amylee has taken care of our cat for the past few years and she is by far the best cat sitter we’ve had. We go on multi-week trips a couple of times a year, so it is vital that we have someone to take good care of our kitty. Amylee is extremely conscientious and caring. She follows every instruction to a tee, and makes sure the cat areas stay clean. She sends regular messages and pictures with updates on how our kitty is doing. But most importantly she goes over and above in her care for our cat, spending time with him playing or just sitting and petting (our cat’s favorite activity). It is obvious that she really loves animals from the way she cares for our kitty. Before Amylee we would come home to a cat who was very obviously stressed and mad at us for leaving. But now we come home to a relaxed kitty who is just happy to see us! We highly recommend Amylee to anyone who wants their cat well cared for and loved!
