Pet care experience
I put your pet's needs and schedule before my own. I provide loving attention and care. All my life I have had a special love for dogs and their play and care time. I have experience caring for dogs each with their own demeanor and energy levels and adjust my communication style to their needs. Over the holidays I house and dog sat for two weeks for a large German Shepard mix who has extreme fear of other dogs and new people. She is totally loving and friendly until she sees another dog then she sounds ferocious, but I bonded with her quickly and followed her routine set by her family and we did really well together. For some reason dogs just always really gravitate toward me and it is completely mutual!

Amy was really great! Very flexible and easy to coordinate with and is clearly very passionate about dogs! She was so sweet with our Mika both in the meet and greet as well as when she watched her. She gave up great updates and made sure our girl was very comfortable and well taken care of. I will 100% be reaching out to Amy again to watch our girl!
Amy was a great sitter for my two cats! She wrote a summary of the visit each day and took great pictures of them playing!

I like to know the dog's likes and dislikes as well as their routine and the communication style they are used to. I like to know how they react in public to strangers, cars, children and other animals. Any dietary dos or don'ts. House rules. How they do on and off leash. Sleep and eating habits. I think it is important for the dog to have their routine followed as closely as possible while their family is away. Communication style to be as commanding or calm as the dog is used to as well as play energy levels and schedules.
A typical day
I will follow the routine the family wants for their dog. Currently, I walk dogs on lands end trail and go to Mile Rock Beach. Neighbor hood walks. Dog parks is socialization play time is wanted. I love the outdoors parks, beach, city all open!
