Pet care experience
I am a Dearborn area school teacher who gets as much joy from taking care of furry, four legged children, as I do my own students during the school year. So what better way to spend my spare time, than to get outside in the fresh air with man's best friend. I have worked for Camp Bow Wow in Shelby Twn in the past, where I was highly trained in the behavioral patterns of large and small dogs in group play. This was a highly satisfying job experience, but with a recent move to the west side in Dearborn, the commute to Camp is just too far. I have also attended multiple obedience classes with my three dogs whom I have rescued. Currently I have two large dogs, a lab mix and a collie, so I feel extremely comfortable walking multiple dogs at one time and/or visiting dog parks and attentively observing large packs playing together. So let me know how I may assist you and your furry family members as you plan exciting weekend and holiday getaways and/or simply helping to provide them with the exercise needed to keep them healthy and happy for many years to come!

Amy is a responsible and caring person and we are grateful to have found her through Rover. We have struggled in recent years to find someone reliable to watch our three pups so we could travel occasionally. As soon as we met Amy, we knew we had found the right person. She was immediately welcomed into the pack by all three of our dogs. Which was surprising to say the least. We received constant updates and photos during our trip which greatly lessened the stress and anxiety we usually feel if we leave the pups for any time. My wife and I have a feeling we should take another trip so the pups can see her again. Thank you!
I highly recommend Amy! I could tell right away that she loves dogs. She was communicative, on time, and made thorough notes about the visits. My greyhound is typically very hesitant around strangers but he warmed up to Amy right away. During the drop-in, he even ate his whole dinner with her standing nearby!
Amy was absolutely wonderful this whole week for my two cats! Very well cared for and I received updates daily with photos and video. I recommend
