43 cats were at my wedding ❤️

Pet care experience

I am able to care for cats, dogs, and other pets- just ask! I have lived with dogs and cats for more than 20 years of my life. Now as an adult, I own three cats and a small dog. I grew up on a small family farm caring for animals like cows, chickens, rabbits, horses, etc. I am able to give pill medications to dogs and cats, as well as any topical medications. I’ve administered injection medications only in humans, but am willing to learn. I am respective of an owner's requests. I am open to working with you and your pet. If I don't think I am the best sitter for your pet, I will be very forward about this. I want to make the best decision for you and your pet.

Amy has been our cat-sitter for several years now and I could always leave knowing my cats were in good hands. She couldn't have been more sympathetic when we lost one of our kitties and jumped right into the new routine brought on when my other cat needed meds twice a day. Unfortunately for me, due to relocation issues, this was the last time Amy watched over our Trixie. We'll miss you, Amy. Good luck!

We are so glad that we found Amy to watch over our cat. She is reliable and always sends an update with pictures, even if she doesn't see the cat, she will find something to photograph that lets you know your pet is being well cared for. Thank-you, Amy, yet again! Anita

I live by “leaving it better than you found it”. With this being said, I will treat your home, and pets, like my own. Cleaning up pet messes, alert you if anything is out of place and always leaving your home safe and secure. The safety of your pet is a priority and that starts with your home.

Information Amy W. would like to know about your pet

Allergies, medication regimens or behavior of your pet (example: your pet is particular about taking meds, eating, trying to escape; etc.) At our meet and greet, I will clarify pet care. Attn owners: if your dog is over 50lbs, they must be well trained unless otherwise discussed. This is for the safety of your pets, other animals and people, and myself. Thank you for understanding.

A typical day

I love play time! I do my best to stimulate and play during my visit, but also am respective when their body language tells me that they’re done. Similar with giving praise and attention- I respect their body language. I attempt to have a little play time each visit.
