I have grown up with dogs and it was our responsibility to feed, walk and play with them. I also had horses growing up and my dog went to the barn with me. I loved having dogs. As an adult I have always had dogs up until the past 6 months. I really miss having a dog because they become another child for me. I believe dogs have feelings just like people do, and so we have to have boundaries with them, but show love and respect as you do with loved ones. I raised my two children with dogs and taught them the responsible way of having a dog, as my parents did with me. I will love and treat your dog as one of my own.
