Hi! I am self employed and make my own schedule, so I have plenty of availability to look after your pets and provide them the best care. I have many years of experience from daycares, boarding kennels and animal shelters and am comfortable handling dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments, plus other pets such as rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, and reptiles. I can also accomodate oral medications and some injections, such as insulin, and am comfortable with animals with disabilities or special needs. I recommend coming to you for housesitting or drop ins so your furkids stay in a familiar environment where they will be safe and comfortable, but if you would prefer boarding please message me, as I can accomodate some pets at my house. I am looking forward to meeting you and your furry friends!

Amy is great with all kind of critters and very reliable! We owned a boarding kennel for 20 years, she worked for us for over a year, until we sold the business. Amy was always on time and did wonderful job caring for our dogs and cats, which included administering medications and all other responsibilities in caring for animals. She also has done great work rescuing, rehabbing and finding homes for multiple animals in need. When Amy was with us, she was a trustworthy employee and outstanding with our customers, handling financial transactions and other detailed oriented duties. I would definitely hire her again!

I will of course need current vet records and contact info, feeding instructions and any medication. Also any input on temperament, activity level, any prey drive, separation anxiety, or fearfulness would be helpful.
A typical day
I aim to tailor each dog's stay to his or her needs. Wanna snuggle on the couch and nap? Or rather zoom around the deck and wrestle with energetic Hazel? Outdoor time will always be supervised and play encouraged with fetch or tug toys. There are two dogs in the household already, in a range of energy levels, that love meeting new friends and can assist with playtime and exercise--or just co-napping!
