Pet care experience
I have been petsitting, starting with family and neighbors, since I was 14 years old. I feel extremely comfortable with most animals, and I can sense that they typically feel comfortable around me.

DO NOT, under any circumstance, trust this individual in your home or, more importantly, with the responsibility of caring for your fur babies. Amy completely violated our trust by deceiving us into thinking that she was at our home and caring for our dogs, when in fact, she was not - as confirmed by our downstairs neighbor and with video camera security footage which negated her claim of being at our home during the time that we messaged her and during which time she agreed to be present in our home and caring for our two boys, Gideon and Walter. After meeting with Amy briefly that morning at around 0830, she said she needed to leave the house briefly and would return within an hour/around 0930. I later messaged Amy at 1106 HRS to request that she bring our Amazon packages inside the home. She messaged one hour later at 1208 HRS and replied, "Absolutely! Just was able to," suggesting that she was at our home - when she was actually NOT at the house. Upon receiving her message, I logged into our home doorbell camera to watch in real-time, which revealed our packages still on the porch, untouched, and Amy was nowhere to be found. After several attempts (three total) to call Amy, she finally picked up on the third attempt. She began to explain how she was dealing with a work emergency. However, she had not communicated to me that she still had in-office work obligations when she agreed to be house/dog-sitting for us. She even confirmed earlier that morning with me when we first met that she would be able to work from our home after giving her our wifi password and after I offered her our home office space for her to work comfortably. After I confronted Amy about not being at our home and having both video footage and confirmation from our neighbor to support her absence, she repeatedly fabricated her story and tried to tell me that she had stopped by the house at some point earlier, let the boys out, and then rushed back to work to deal with that work emergency. Again, our home video surveillance shows no evidence of her return, and our downstairs neighbor, who was home the entire time, confirmed that she never returned and that our boys were never taken out. Because of the apparent violation of our trust, we chose to terminate our house/pet-sitting agreement, effective immediately. We did not want her in our home with all our valuable belongings, or anywhere near our two boys. We are not from Massachusetts and do not have any family close by who we can rely on to help care for our boys when we take trips out of town - this is what Rover is for. We were SO incredibly lucky to have our neighbor home who stepped in and helped us navigate this fiasco that Amy put us in. She caused us incredible stress and anxiety as we were over three hours away on a short getaway trip, trying to find alternative care arrangements for our boys quickly. Our boys are safe, and we are finally back home, and we hope that no other pet parents like us have to endure what Amy put us through in the last 36 hours.
Did a great job keeping my cat and many aquariums fed and happy during my long weekend vacation!
If you want peace of mind leaving your fur babies while you travel or go to work, Amy is the sitter for you! She makes certain your pets are loved and taken care of. She loves people and animals and always wants all to feel safe and comfortable. You would be lucky to have her as your pet sitter!
Amy loves all animals. She is kind and very loving to all pets. She has taken care of my dogs and cats many times. She will even help when I have strays to feed and she genuinely cares. She is prompt, hard working and trustworthy. I would highly recommend her to watch, walk, feed, and play with your pets. She cares for animals like you would!

A typical day
I love taking dogs on long walks, especially on hiking trails. If you have a yard, I enjoy sitting with animals outside on a nice day. I will play with your pets and learn their favorite toys, and I'll make sure that they receive all the affection and scratches that they need!

I currently work full time as a social worker, but my schedule is pretty flexible, aside from the mornings (8am until about 12pm). If you need me during that time, I just need notice and can try to make most things work. My priority is that we are on the same page so that I can make sure that your pets receive all the attention they need!!
