I have a 3-bedroom house with large fenced back yard. My doggie door will accommodate small to medium-sized dogs. We are a very dog-friendly neighborhood! If weather permits, I love to walk dogs in the park in my subdivision. I'm an animal advocate and have fostered several cats in the past. I currently have cats of my own, who will each be in their own rooms when I am caring for a dog if the dog owner wishes. Both of my cats loved my sweet 14 year old dog, Sophie, who I lost to a brain tumor two years ago. I adopted her when she was two and she was my best friend. I'm not ready to adopt another dog, but would love the opportunity to keep your dog for a night, or two, or even a week! I am home most of the time and will be able to let your dog out to run freely in the backyard as often as the dog would like. My house is very pet-friendly! Your dog would be welcome to sit on the couch with me (as long as that is allowed also in your home). I have been caring for a Scottie and a Westie when their humans go on trips for the past eight years. I've also boarded my neighbor's very large Chocolate Lab for up to 18 days at a time.
