Pet care experience
I am an experienced dog sitter, with multiple years of experience looking after a variety of pets, from litters of puppies to elderly pooches. I have worked for two years as a veterinary care assistant in my holidays alongside being a second year vet student, and am capable and competent when looking after beloved pets, whether simply enjoying lots of cuddles and long walks or taking care of dogs with more complex needs. I really love spending time around dogs and am always glad for the time spent to going for a stroll or having a nice chilled evening on the sofa.

Would recommend very good with my anxious dog, good communication
Amy was so excellent and thoughtful watching our two dogs! She gave lots of updates and really showed that she cared. Would highly recommend every time.

Amy was incredibly polite and courteous and took rufus (my little angel) out for a delightful walk while I was stuck working from home. She was more than happy to tell me all about the walk and send me some photos of them out on the walk. He was very content when he got back home and was ready for a nap so the walk definitely worked some of his energy out. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good dog walker and she’s very quick at responding and flexible.

I have a fenced yard and a pet free home, with the downs a very short distance away for walking/exercise. Unfortunately I have no capacity to look after a dog overnight at my home at this time, though I am happy to dog/house sit overnight at your own property.

I need to know prior to taking care of your dog how they are on and off the lead, how they interact with other dogs out in public and if they have any additional needs to ensure that I can take the best possible care of your pet and keep us both safe and sound.
A typical day
I love playing lots of games, exploring new places, getting lots of fresh air and a good leg stretch. My personal favourite place to go for walks is The Downs, which is a short 5-10 minute walk from my house and has an abundance of open space to go for a lovely run and have an adventure!

Availability
I am a vet student so my timetable is reasonably flexible in terms of working - I have a large capacity for working from a home environment if dog or house sitting. The only time I am always unavailable is from 9-11am on Thursday mornings, but other than that I am happy to work around my schedule to find what works for you.
