As a PhD student, I have a very flexible schedule when I am in town, and can care for your dog when you need during the day. I do not have any pets of my own, so I can board dogs that need extra attention. I request to know about your dog's temperament, typical schedule, and any little quirks or special needs. Does he like to walk the same route every day, or can we go down a new street? Does she tell me when she needs to go out, or should I take her out every 4 hours? How does he respond to strangers and other dogs on our walk? What behavioral issues should I know about?
