Hi there. My name is Amy and my son Zion (11 yo) and I live in NW Denver. I am a teacher and as you know teachers don't make a ton of money. I am looking to supplement my income by doing some dog sitting. I love all animals, particularly dogs. I have been around dogs my entire life and feel like I truly understand them. My friends and I have always watched each others' dogs. We have a very dog friendly home with a doggy door and a fenced in backyard. Your dog/s are able to hang on our couch or sleep on beds. We would be able to walk your dog/s at least every other day or everyday if you prefer. I have a typical teacher schedule from Aug to May. I work from 7:30 to 4:00, Mon- Fri. We occasionally have plans on the weekend but are often home, or can be home, most of the weekend. In the summers, I don't work so I'm available all day, everyday. We have a 9 yo Golden Retriever, Charlie and an 11 yo llasa apsa mix Ollie. We also have a cat who is used to dogs. AT THIS TIME I AM ASKING TO ONLY WATCH SENIOR DOGS. Unfortunately Charlie can get anxious and the mellower the dog is, the better. We had to stop dog sitting because Charlie just couldn’t handle the busy dogs. But after working with him the past few years, I found he does well with the mellower dogs. I am also able to watch your small animals such as guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, turtles, chinchillas, hedgehogs, or lizards. I'm not a big snake person, so snakes are out.
