My husband Steve and I have been dog owners for 15 years. We have raised two puppies and trained them both ourselves. We have also cared for family and friend's dogs over the years. I am certified by the Red Cross in Cat and Dog First Aid. Certificate available upon request. I am an elementary school teacher on a leave of absence, so I am home full time with our Yellow Labrador (Maverick). My husband Steve works full time remotely from home so your pup will almost surely never get lonely. We have a large network of trails behind our house and we walk our dog daily, usually for 2+ miles. One of us is always around to let the dog out and provide plenty of love! Caring for another dog would fit right into our normal routine and provide some much needed playtime for Maverick. For boarding or daycare your dog would follow our dog's routine with whatever adjustments are necessary for them to feel safe and secure. We let our dog out several times a day, take at least one walk of 2+ miles, and provide plenty of treats and love! We allow our dog on a few select pieces of furniture for downtime. Our dog sleeps in his dog bed in our bedroom. Our dog Maverick is 4 years old and extremely friendly, energetic and well socialized. He loves to play and is always looking for new friends! For dog walking I am available most days and times to walk your pup according to your personal preferences. I am also available for house sitting for those pups who feel more comfy in their own home. Since I am not currently teaching I have an open schedule for watching your home and your pets.
