Pet care experience
I love animals! If it has four legs and fur, I’m all in. I have had both small and large dogs as well as cats of all varieties. I have volunteered as a dog walker at the animal shelter and pet sit for family and friends regularly. I am very active and enjoy long walks.

Amy is amazing. She spends time with our kitties and keeps them company. She knows how to approach them as a “newbie” to them and make them feel at ease. Her report cards are much appreciated and I found myself looking forward to the pictures. We didn’t have a care in the world with her as our fur baby sitter.

Amy is fantastic with animals. She’s had big dogs and can handle them and is a great cat mom. When I got my beagle she helped me train him because she knew he’d be led by his nose. She showed me how to divert his attention and come back to me. When we go to the park we take my big dog and she runs with him on a leash, he obeys her better than me! She genuinely loves all animals. I was out of town and my dog was with my elderly mother in law when he got sick. She came and took him to the vet for me. When I lost my 13 year old fur baby she met me at the vet and sat with me, she even went back and paid the bill so I wouldn’t have to deal with it. I can’t say enough how great of a pet caregiver she would be.

I am a full time teacher (with 21 years of experience), so my schedule is pretty open during school vacations. I can do visits or walks before or after school, or even during my lunch if the location is close.
