Pet care experience
Hello dog lovers, I am a dog lover who has been lucky enough to live with dogs for most of my life (my own and roommates' dogs). I am a responsible graduate student in the PDX area, who loves to care for and play with canines. I am available to stay at your house with your pup (and take care of any additional house care you might need) or your furry friend is welcome in my home as well! My home is centrally located in NW Portland and has a huge fenced yard and is park accessible. Most of my experience is with medium to large dogs, but my brother has a yorkie that I have had to care for on numerous occasions, so I am equally prepared to love your little pupper. My hobbies include hiking and running so if your dog is also a fan of those activities, I can work them into my care schedule. Currently I work a 7am-4pm schedule so I can care for dogs that are okay to be left alone for 8 hrs at home. Looking forward to meeting you dog! Cheers, Amy

Amy Rey is great!
Amy sent regular pictures and updates, and it was very clear that Kai had a wonderful stay with her! Amy's home was a great setup for Kai, and she was very open and responsive to Kai's special needs and quirks. We will definitely be sending Kai to camp out with her buddy Amy again in the future!
Amy is very nice, and was also very flexible regarding drop-off and pick-up times. She obviously really likes dogs, and my furry boys took to her immediately. They had lots of fun with her, and she took them on many walks and visits to the dog park. Amy sent me lots of cute photos of the boys while I was away, so I didn't have to worry about them.
I completely trust Amy with my little yorkie mix, Max. She is responsible, sweet, kind, and I know that when he's with her he's in the very best hands. Amy has given Max regular walks since we adopted him and he ALWAYS looks forward to seeing her. Max has a bad knee and needs a little extra attention to make sure it doesn't get triggered and when Max is with Amy I don't worry about him or his knee at all. She's reliable, kind, and absolutely the kind of person you want looking after your pet!
