We all want to know that our pets are in the very best hands when we are away from them. I am a licensed veterinarian and practiced full-time small animal emergency medicine for 5 years. I am now going back to graduate school for some additional training, and would love to help take care of your fur babies while you are out of town. I specialize in senior pets and those who have special medical needs due to illness or recent surgery - but that doesn't mean I don't LOVE taking care of happy, healthy pets of all ages (who doesn't love puppy breath?? That is why I went to vet school in the first place right?). I offer a free in-home consultation to discuss your pet's routine, specific needs and to to make sure that that you and your pet will be comfortable while they are under my care. At this time I am only caring for pets in your home full-time or daily home visits - where your pet is most comfortable. I also can come for home visits while you are home if your pet requires medical treatments such as subcutaneous fluids, medication injections, rehabilitation exercises, etc. and you would like assistance and guidance. I am happy to work with your regular veterinarian, acupuncturist and/or rehabilitation specialist to make sure your pet receives the very best care and medical monitoring while you are away. I can provide additional pet care such as baths, nail trims, ear cleaning and anal sac expression (usually with the help of my partner, and vet tech for life, Steven - see pictures) as well as home chores such as care for plants, bringing in mail/paper/packages, adjusting light schedules, letting workmen in, filling bird feeders or anything else you or your home may require. I can also take care of some small animals, reptiles, birds and farm animals - Please contact me for me for more information or to discuss your pet's individual situation. You will receive a minimum of daily text updates and pictures of your babies while you are away. If you need a different schedule due to traveling or cell availability we will adjust to a schedule you prefer.
