Stay-at-home dog care. Big yard.

Pet care experience

I work from home so I will be here mostly all the time. Should your dog come to stay, they will have plenty of opportunities to enjoy the large yard and get any cuddles they may need. Walks and outings are also on the table! My husband works all around the country. Depending on the time of the year, and in between tours, he may participate in the care of your pet. I know pet care is more than just making sure they are fed, walked, and pottied, especially when it comes to dogs. They need a confident leader in order to feel confident they are in good hands and they are safe. I really enjoy playing and working with dogs. They may all have the same basic needs, but each dog has its own personality. I find it fascinating. My own doggos have certainly presented their own unique challenges and rewards.

Any took amazing care of our miniature schnauzer, Lani. We had a last minute trip and needed someone to watch our pup the very next day. We contacted Amy and scheduled a meet and greet the very same day. She has a very sweet dog who got along great with our pup. She treated Lani like her own family and provided lots of snuggles, playtime, and treats. Lani enjoyed her sleepover so much that she almost didn’t want to leave! I highly recommend Amy and will definitely be using her for all future trips.

Amy was amazing and took wonderful care of our big pup. Upon meeting with Amy, I immediately felt comfortable with her interactions with Mosel and her calm nature with her own pup. This is our first time having used Rover and I would definitely ask Amy to watch our sweet girl again. She was walked, snuggled and loved while we were away for a long weekend, and I didn’t have to worry one bit! Thank you, Amy.

Amy was absolutely fantastic with Hal! He had a wonderful time with her. Amy took Hal for walks and gave him a lot of love. Hal is sleeping comfortably after his Doggy Daycare. I very much enjoyed the photos, updates, and report card. Thank you so much. It is fantastic to know and trust that Hal is in loving and caring hands.

I was a little worried dropping my dog off for daycare as she can be a littler nervous but Amy did a fantastic job with her and sent me pics when I asked about her. When I'm in the area I will be using her again.

Information Amy R. would like to know about your pet

How excitable is your dog? Do they get to interact with other dogs frequently, and seem to get along well with them? Should I prepare for certain triggers like food aggression or anxiety? Is this the first time your dog has stayed somewhere with out you?

A typical day

There is a small park right next to the house where we can go on walks. I have a decent sized yard as well. Before your dog comes to stay, I would love to have a meet and greet with them at a neutral location (preferably a dog park, but sidewalk is also fine), to make their transition into a new place with new friends that much easier.
